What to Take on a Tour

In deciding what to take on a tour, two important facts must be considered:
• Is the travel within or outside the country?
• Is the travel meant to last for a few days or longer?
What a Tourist Should Know Before Embarking on a Tour
1. Do not take along very expensive items that can easily be stolen.
2. It is necessary to be familiar with some of the customs of the people such as greeting and common sayings.
3. When taking photographs of important and interesting places, be sure to fing out if it is safe to do so, as some areas are regarded as security zones.
4. Be Friendly but be cautious of people you do not know.
5. Kindly decline to accept or deliver packages for people you are not familiar with.
6. Stick to your planned budget as excessive and impulsive purchases may leave you stranded.
7. Be sure that you do not purchase contraband goods.
8. Be safety conscious, keep your money and other valuables in a safe place.
